The Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) have announced the honorees of the 29th Annual FSEA Gold Leaf Awards Competition. This year there were 39 categories where a gold, silver and bronze were awarded in each. Categories continue to expand with new technologies for digital as well as conventional methods of print embellishments, fi nishing and binding. Entries were received from countries all over the world, including the US, Japan, Denmark, Canada, Taiwan, Poland, Australia and South Africa. With the growing entries and categories for digital embellishments, this year the judges awarded a Best of Show for two amazing entries – one that incorporated more traditional foil and embossing methods (Studio On Fire’s theory11 The Beatles Box Set) and a digitally embellished promotion (Print Panther Direct’s Konica Minolta Print So Real You Can Feel It – Extreme Digital 3).
